
Sheenly Gener
Sheenly Gener is a Berlinale Talents alumna, award-winning actress, filmmaker, and acting coach with a contagious passion for storytelling. She won Best Supporting Actress at QCinema 2017 (Dormitoryo) and was an Aliw Awards Best Actress nominee (Insiang). As a filmmaker, she directed and produced Bula Sa Langit (Cinemalaya 2022), which won multiple awards, and her short film Ikahuli was a Gawad Alternatibo finalist.
On stage and screen, Sheenly embodies complex, unpredictable characters with fearless honesty. From Rite of Passage and Ang Mga Bisita ni Jean to Buybust, Fan Girl, The Kangks Show and Gomburza, her performances feel raw and real.

As an acting coach, she mentors with humor and empathy, helping students trust their instincts and push creative boundaries. A full scholar at the Philippine High School for the Arts and DLS-CSB, she’s also worked behind the scenes as an AD, script supervisor, creative producer, floor director, coordinator and stage manager.

Beyond film and theater, Sheenly is a yogi, Reiki practitioner, painting student, accessories designer, and weekend baker—plus a self-proclaimed cake connoisseur. A sustainability advocate, she lives as mindfully as she creates. She’s passionate about storytelling that challenges, invites reflection over easy answers, sparks thought, stirs emotion, and leaves a lasting impact.
